Agency LUN

For critical shipments we can book cargo into LUN as frequency of operations is daily into LUN and truck cargo overnight. This is also an option for out of gauge shipments which cannot move on the DC8 freighter into NLA. LUN has several 747F operations which can accommodate most shipments. Currently LUN has daily SAA flights from JNB including freighter operations which are seasonal.

Routing

Cargo originating from Asia, Europe and USA is transshipped via Ostend or JNB into NLA or LUN depending on the urgency and carrier used. Cargo originating from JNB will come directly into LUN or NLA depending on the urgency and size of shipment.

Deliveries

We have a full complement of vehicles to make deliveries. We are able to deliver within 24 hours of arrival. At NLA we handle all airlines for the exception of SAA and are able to expedite clearance and delivery faster as the cargo comes directly into our warehouse.Transit time from collection at Origin to delivered along the line of rail:Weekly service * 5 to 7 days Daily service * 72 hours

For airfreight shipments we offer two services directly into NLA:

1) The weekly freighter service by MK Airlines into NLA from South Africa and Europe. This service brings cargo directly to your door step on the Copperbelt and is ideal for larger shipments that cannot be moved on the smaller carriers operating into NLA and LUN. It is also the best option for cargo moving from outside Africa transshipping via Ostend or Joburg.

2) Three times a week Interair service into NLA as well as daily SAA flights. These services are ideal for smaller and time critical shipments that cannot wait for the weekly freighter.
